The portal uses Open Source tools, and has been designed to be fully accessible, in accordance with internet content accessibility principles.

We use XHTML 1.0 and CSS in accordance with W3C specifications, as we attach great importance to ease of use and accessibility. Our philosophy is to cater to all those who consult the website, irrespective of who they are and, to this end, we apply to the greatest extent possible the principle of separation between HTML code and CSS presentation.

We believe that the increased accessibility of websites should, in particular, make it possible for disabled persons to have access to information, knowledge, education and culture. Our aim is, by the end of 2011, to provide a level of accessibility that complies with government recommendations in this area, pursuant to Act no. 2005-102 of 11 February 2005 on equal rights and opportunities, participation and citizenship for disabled persons.

Nevertheless, the Ministry reserves the right not to guarantee access to its portal in the event of force majeure (e.g. a site outage or technical maintenance work) and may not be held liable.
